That's a wrap! Season 10 of Forged in Fire has finished filming

It’s been nearly a year since we last saw a new episode of Forged in Fire, which means we are due for some fresh bladesmithing action. After a ninth season featuring several unique episode formats, we are expecting big things from Forged in Fire Season 10. However, much to the chagrin of fans the world over, we’ve been left to largely guess as to when we’ll see that next season.

While official news from the team at History has been practically non-existent, the trail has not been entirely cold. The legendary weaponsmaker and long time judge David Baker has been a steady source of clues regarding the status of Forged in Fire Season 10. Today, we got another nugget from Mr. Baker.
David Baker has finished shooting Forged in Fire Season 10
Earlier today, David Baker posted on Facebook a photo of his home garage with the caption “Finally home from shooting season 10 of Forged in Fire.” We learned from an earlier post that filming was scheduled to begin on June 5th, which means the FIF crew just wrapped on a solid summer of shooting.

Of course, as is the case with any television production, the process doesn’t end when filming is wrapped. The episodes are now no doubt being handed off to the editing room for final shaping into the show we all know and love. However, this is big news for anyone waiting to see their favorite judges slice up some ballistic gel dummies!
When can we expect to watch Forged in Fire Season 10?
As of the posting of this article, no official announcement has been made regarding the release date of Forged in Fire Season 10. Previously, we explored the most likely release window for the upcoming season based on historical evidence (and more social media posts by the judges). Based on all we know, we are tentatively estimating that Season 10 will be released in October 2023.
